Events of all shapes and sizes happen all the time in our communities. Manning Media has a full Events Marketing team that can help promote any event, street fair, grand opening, ribbon cutting, anniversary celebration, concert series, county fair – even something simple like a 2 Day Radiothon and a benefit 5K!

If your organization or business needs help in building a promotion for your event, we can work with you to find a unique point of interest so the public will turn out. We also have our own full calendar of events that a business or organization can join.

Our Event Marketing approach can include multiple levels of message delivery including on-air radio promotion, on-line promotion through web presence, email promotion to our VIP clubs, and Social Media marketing before, during and after the event. And we will provide you with metrics on the event’s performance. We also can show you the tools you can use on your own to generate more business after the event is over.

Radiothon 5k is an annual fundraising event held in March to benefit the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life in Frederick and Washington Counties. For two days, we take our station on the road and broadcast live. We invite listeners, sponsors and clients to come out and tell their stories of how cancer has affected them.

The Egg Hunt is a free, family friendly event held each year approximately two weeks before Easter. The event takes place at the FSK Mall in Frederick and the Valley Mall in Hagerstown. The kids are all given a postcard featuring a specially decorated egg. They search through our sponsor and vendor tables to find a match. Once they have found a match, they turn in their card to get a free goody bag with treats. The first 500 parents at each event receive a tote bag.

The Back2School Bash is a free, family friendly event held each year in August. The event takes place at the FSK Mall in Frederick and the Valley Mall in Hagerstown. The first 500 kids get a drawstring backpack and a “School Treats List” featuring the names of some of our sponsors and vendors. The kids visit each of those booths to receive a treat. The first 500 parents at each event receive a tote bag.

MallOWeen is a free, family friendly, trick or treat event held each year in October. The event takes place at the FSK Mall in Frederick and the Valley Mall in Hagerstown. Every vendor hands out candy to the kids. The first 500 parents at each event receive a tote bag.
